Core Responsibilities
Vehicle Movement: Safely park, retrieve, and organize inventory on the lot, ensuring cars are staged appropriately for sales displays or the service lane.
Inventory Maintenance: Perform light detailing, wash cars, vacuum interiors, and fill up gas tanks or check fluids so vehicles are presentable for customers.
Lot Organization: Keep the lot, showroom, and service drive clean, safe, and free of debris or snow.
Customer Service: Greet customers upon arrival, retrieve their vehicles, and sometimes shuttle clients or deliver sold cars to their homes.
Department Support: Assist Sales Advisors and Service Technicians by moving cars for test drives or transferring vehicles into service bays. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Requirements
Typical Requirements
Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is strictly required.
Physical Stamina: The role involves extensive walking, standing, and working outside in all weather conditions.
Manual Transmission Skill: The ability to drive stick-shift vehicles is often preferred.
