We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Vice President of Operations to provide operational leadership across our dealership group and help drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will work closely with General Managers and dealership leadership teams to improve results, develop leaders, and ensure consistent execution across all locations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership and support across multiple dealership locations.
Coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and department leaders.
Drive accountability by establishing clear action plans, ensuring performance expectations are being met, and instituting disciplined follow-up processes.
Monitor dealership performance across sales, F&I, service, parts, customer experience, and profitability metrics.
Utilize financial statements, operational reporting, and key performance indicators to identify opportunities and improve results.
Conduct regular dealership visits focused on leadership development, operational reviews, and performance improvement.
Be a champion of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), customer experience, and dealership reputation across the group.
Promote consistency in operational processes, standards, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with OEM programs, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in automotive retail.
Proven track record of improving dealership performance and developing high-performing teams.
Multi-store, regional, or senior dealership leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of variable operations, fixed operations, dealership financial management, and customer experience.
Demonstrated ability to coach leaders, drive accountability, and achieve measurable results.
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
OMVIC license (or ability to obtain) and a valid driver's license.
